The Eyes of a Stranger, wip

“The eyes of a stranger” is a virtual reality experience that explores matters of identity throughout the flow of time, along with the impact
and significance of human action. The users are called to interact with fictional three-dimensional avatars that behave as alter egos, copying their every single move and gesture. This awkward choreography takes place in different environments that allow for interaction, modifications and rearrangement. The “reflections” are everchanging, representing the human condition within time-space, starting off as children and aging rapidly, a shift that is made visible through their characteristics and ability to follow the users’ movements.

Although it would be expected of these dopplegangers to die after reaching a certain age, they instead transcend into an abstract form,
and eventually stop being tied to the user. All sceneries the users have visited collapse into a single one, while every change made by them persists, signifying the impact each one of us is capable of making onto this world, whether or not we are there to perceive it.
